It's not like we were kids:
we were not.
When our hearts went out to bid,
we caught got!
And everything we did
was love-bought,
and fresh!
Now here we stand
and vows make
We know God's hand
as we cut cake
He's given his plan
and we make
it Fresh!

Sometimes i think this was not the best of marriages, but there were many blessings that came from it, namely me (oldest), my brother and my sister (youngest). More tragically, my mother did not survive my 6th birthday; the two of them, such a beautiful couple, did not get the opportunity to really work at making it work, or dismantling it gracefully. I can tell, though, that this day was one of joy and love and only good thoughts of what the future would hold.
