A Halloween Post

Flip the Switch!

One day i woke up from my nap
And crossed my eyes: i like to!
I heard my puppy Happy yap,
And wondered why, cuz I knew

That Happy never barked unless
Trouble somewhere brewing.
So i rolled over on my chest,
Then saw what he was viewin'!

A mirror in my cribby swings,
I like to look at me
but today no smile my visage brings
Hey! who did this to me?

I screamed and screeched and howled and cried
until they running came
but i only got louder when them i spied
sadly they looked the same

As me. But wait, they smile, they pick me up!
They coo me just like always,
They wash me, dress me, give me cup,
Then strap me in to play!

Oh, now, it all comes back to me,
I'm just a babe you know!
And i forget that what i see
Comes after that nice glow!

Everybody's strapped in tight
Ho this is gonna be rich!
My little face will soon be right:
Somebody, FLIP THE SWITCH!

BOO!
