Welcome, Abbey!

A work colleague and his wife welcomed Abbey to this universe, solar system, planet, our world on January 10, 2009. I know that she will be a blessing to them, and i hope i get to know her just a little. Her circle of friends is already wide, and there may not be room, but i will be thinking of her often, wishing her well and happy. Zippidoodah for real!

This layout of Abbey's first day was done for the Lyric Challenge at Digital-Scrapbooking-dot-org . I couldn't believe it when i saw the song that was up for the challenge--perfect lullaby, don't cha think?

I had also wanted to do another layout using MegaDoodle Inspired's "Fleeting Hearts" kit, which you can find in her store. I love this paper and as you can tell from my posted LO a couple of days back, i adore the dragonflies. In this post, i'm offering another set of definition tags, this time for "dragonfly". Again, no preview, but you can see the tag on the layout, specially if you click to see the more detailed view. Here's Abbey!

Well, tomorrow i'm supposed to sing at a MLK Birthday service in a neighboring town. My car died on Friday, so i have a rental. Snowstorm starts at midnight tonight and INTENSIFIES at 7am, 2 hours before i'm supposed to be at church. The rental will be what i drive into the blizzard to get to church tomorrow, so you praying folk start praying me safely to church and back, ok? Thank you!
