March Kit has arrived!

Smellin' sweet too, all florally like, LOL! Introducing, Mostly Flowers!

Once again, the kit is huge. I want to be sorry, but i can't, quite. Click the image to see a more detailed picture.

As i was surfing earlier in the year, i came across a site, Hawksmont Universe, where i discovered lots of Photoshop resources, including some fabulous brushes. The flowers called me this month. I thought it would be easy to create designs in paper with them, but it was not as easy as i thought. However, i think i got some good papers. I like most of them. The velvet did not come out as velvety as i would have liked, but then, i am a beginner, and not an artist. That's not an excuse, just a fact, jacq.

While participating in DivineDigitals "Last Scrapper Standing" i discovered Royanne Fritschmann's Blooming Doodles and had a great time with them, too.

Ok, that's all for me.

Designer Creditis for Mostly Flowers

This kit contains

16 papers
5 tags
3 brads
1 wordart
7 frames (15-pane leather tooled frame NOT included)
10 ribbons
15 bows

Inspiration from the kit is the March DSO Color Challenge sponsored by Kim Broedelet, as well as the fabulous brushes of Hawksmount.

Most papers and the buggy brad created using Flowers 1 and Floral 1 and 2 Brushes from Hawksmount Universe. Credit not required but given with great appreciation.
The felt frame created from Floral Builder #3 (Clematis) from Netta, the Ephemeral Victorian herself! I cannot say how much Ephemeral Victorian has meant to me in these past few months, and although the TOU says Credit Not Required, i am so happy to give it, with great appreciation. Ephemeral Victorian, i will miss you.
The globe is an orthographic projection, centered on 40 degrees N, 40 degrees W using shoreline data from GSHHS ("crude" level), and is in the public domain.

One paper, a frame (the hexagonal one) and the brooch created using brushes from Blooming Doodles ©Royanna Fritschmann - Studio RA Designs (CU license)

Thanks to Atomic Cupcake for the Tooled Leather (frames), felt (clematis frame), and gel (clematis frame) actions.

Special thanks to Megadoodle for the Mega-Bow Maker 1.0 action, created by Brandy O'Neal and © 2008. Those Bows are soooo awesome, Brandy!

Two tags (purple and blue stripe) created using Mini Kit in a Box action ©Tracy King.

The rest is all me!

Without further ado, here's Mostly Flowers!

Note: well, my friends! This kit was not popular anyway, and i just heard, sadly, that some of the kit seemed a bit unrealistic so may it is for the best that the 4shared links no longer work for anything but the frames. In the harddrive crash this summer, i lost the originals, so they can't be replaced anyway. I sorta liked the frames, but again, wasn't popular, so i'm taking down the whole thing. All i have left are the frames: if you want 'em, just leave me a comment and i'll get back to you. blessings--LLG, October 30, 2008.
