Hey, don't forget to click on my images--on ANY of my pages, including the one i refer you to below--to see a bigger picture of the layout. Some of the details are fun, and usually the journaling is readable there, when it might not be so here.
Well, i'm finally able to post this layout that i have been so wanting to scrap for several months. A few weeks ago, my niece's daddy--one of my nephews who i have only scrapped as a daddy so far, but watchout, his little guy pics are gonna be coming out too!--gave me permission to scrap her. I'm calling her "Jani" on these pages.
I haven't met Jani yet, but hope to do so within the year. She looks adorable and as sweet and good as i was at her age. RIGHT!
I and Jani's grandmother, my sister, were born QUEENS. Leo's we are, and we hardly take any mess, even when we were little! You can see, if you haven't already, a picture of my sister and Jani in another princess layout, here. Also, another QUEENLY princess layout of me all by myself, what a cutie eh! N E HOW!!!
I am so struck with how much Jani and i favor each other in these poses. I think it may be the attitude that makes us look alike, but there is a definite family resemblance on that upper part of the face I think! I have other pics of her that i will be scrapping in the coming days, so look out for her! Maybe i can get some updated pics from Mommy!

The three layouts that i talk about, this one and the two on the other page, were created from Mabelle Santiago-Rubia's Sunday Best line. Fabulous line and no longer available, sorry to say. You can get to Mabelle's blog by clicking the myDigiStyle blinkie at the top on the left. When you do, you will find yourself in the midst of scrappers who scrap for their lives. Truly it is Mabelle who has encouraged me to scrap even when i don't get votes, or i don't scrap in the way it appears the designer intended, or it's not "pretty" or it's not light and airy, or it is just full of my life. She has encouraged me to express me here, and often it is dark beyond belief, but sometimes, like today, it is mostly light and actually a little bit pritty. I so love her work and have scrapped things with many of her lines or with pieces of her lines, from My Granny's Place through Attic Box #2. I thank her for her offerings and her gifts and most of all, her encouragement and a space to talk sometimes about what matters. Hugs to you, Mabelle.
These next layouts use the quickpages that CC made for me from my December Adinkra: Faith, Hope, Love kit, when she opened her blog mid January. That's the "I been Jacked" post in the archives. I posted pics of me doing my son's hair, but i have these that i did of Jani and her dad, and Jani and her grandmother (same pic, different scrapping):

Many thanks to my family for letting me scrap them!
Blessings, til next time, y'all!

Thanks so much for the cute video clip! You had me laughing hard! Looks like your scrapping is in 'full gear' now! Definately not a 'beginner' (as you called yourself when I first met ya)... your layouts looks great. Thanks for stopping by my little blog the other day. Take care.
Dear Gurl,
Im back from Hades. I had a project that took a week to finish with me going non-stop at it without sleep (1.5 hours - if you'd call that SLEEP) for rest. Im done. You just plastered this HUGE smile across my face that beats the damn cat in Alice in Wonderland! Oh my Gurl! You have such a way with words that you brought me to tears! You have no idea how great you made me feel! Oh my! Thank you so much Denise! I'd hug you back a thousand times more if I just could... and Im as "blessed" like you with words! Haha!
